how important do you think is social media right now for was everything yeah I think is everything yeah cuz only through social media I could send my beats to two famous rappers or whoever like David guys even back in the day that was just like MySpace probably right yeah well even to myspace time I'll say I beat ya to the guys on myspace yeah it gives you access yeah yeah so do you think that having like you know the the old I mean all the people around an artist usually you know you've got your managers you've got maybe an agent you've got a label all that kind of stuff how relevant is all of that going to be like maybe 10 years from now with like social media kind of just not leave just social me in terms of access to I think I just needs one when you're when you are an artist I think it just mean one guy was really believing in you and who does all the creative stuff with you and like organized maybe like two guys one for the creative part on one sure I was organizing it with you what do you what do you mean the creative part but like maybe AB direction how does as the video to look how has the cover what kind of direction are we going with it and I think that's important and label is or distribution is only important if you have no money yeah so sure you need to do like videos you pay you have to pay your producers or whatever yeah so you just need money and I want maybe one or two people who believe in you yeah yeah yeah is that why you started peak nice yeah yeah that's why so I started the label last year and we did it with spin up first is I think it's from Universal but you can upload your songs there and you have to pay 10 euros for one year so this is a distribution platform yeah by said like CD Baby or yeah but you don't have pay them a percentage of the income just like 10 years okay yeah each song a year yeah and that's pretty cool so we did a couple of songs there and there was this one remix with Paris don't go and this hit like six million views and then I got all the income so that's I saw us on YouTube and everything yeah never had to pay anybody from that that's so especially a only the guys who I did the song yeah so sure sure of course yeah so label nobody so now we just recently signed a distribution deal with Universal okay why I'm just to have money to work with okay yeah you need an investor basically oh yeah that's okay because we only pay them like 20 percent of our income and we got an advance to work and to do bigger videos surely sure but do they even help you like get the tracks maybe like into Spotify Friday or they can't even do that anymore they can't because Spotify you know a Spotify for artists yeah they have this pitch thing this is kind of new like two months yeah we can know everybody can pitch their songs to to the spotty because whatever a curators yeah and Universal can do the same only they they don't have any label meetings yeah see there's there's so many people that talk about how they just like like give them tons of money and I don't know no that's how that works but if I was really they don't wanted to talk to labels anymore they just want to talk to the artists or the management perfect yeah yeah I just cut out basically in this sense the middleman yeah
