  1. Stringer was like a more realistic story of the original Superfly movie. He really wanted out of the game and had higher aspirations. Even though some of the political games are underhanded, he was immediately drawn to illegal schemes in the "legitimate" world. Born in the gangster world, died in the gangster world. Would have been a lawless business mogel too.

  2. string did amazing in this and the trust avon gave him was great too. them moving like this would’ve made me unstoppable

  3. String was AVONS BITCH JUST WITH PULL BUT HE ACTED LIKE IT WAS BOTH THEIR BUSINESS BUT IT WAS JUST AVONS…..

  4. Webay might b the soldier but you can tell out of all the soldiers bay Avon stringer was real tight they all grew uptogether unlike the others

  5. That "build a wall around you" line was really about Stringer isolating Avon from the rest of the workers, making it so that by having the crew report directly to him instead of Avon, Stringer has more influence over the organization, diverting more power away from Avon to the point where he is just a symbol than a leader. Stringer is fattening them up, getting them used to his sole authority so that by the time Avon gets sent up to prison or eliminated, the power structure is already in place for Stringer to run it.
