Spider with magic nuudles

Hi, this is Joelle Meijer. Have you ever had the opportunity to use magic
noodles? For Halloween, I have two activities that
consist in decorating the legs of a spider with magic noodles. For the first spider, I decided to use gray
noodles. With a brush, apply a little bit of water
in the two sections of one leg. Then take two magic noodles and glue them
in place. The water enters the magic noodle and softens
the cornstarch which then glues to the paper. Continue the same way for all the legs of
the spider! The magic noodles are made from cornstarch and so even if your little ones put them in
their mouth, they are non toxic! As you can see, the magical noodles come in
all sorts of colours and thus for the second spider, I suggest
you use different colours to create the legs. You can do as for the first spider, using
water and a paint brush or for younger children, you can use a wet
sponge on which the child dabs the magic noodle before
gluing it in place. I hope you will have fun creating these two
spiders with big legs made of magic noodles! To access the free document with the instructions
and the two patterns, click on the link below the video.
