Hi, my name is Scott Haskins and I am the
author of “How To Save Your Stuff From A Disaster.” I speak internationally on this subject and
work with people all the time on how to preserve their things from natural disasters and home
accidents. We’ll talk more about this in a minute.
I’ve also been a painting conservator for thirty-five years and we have a great reputation
nation-wide for the work that we do in preserving art collections, working with collectors,
and working on historical properties. This website is created for the insurance
industry to help you do two things: one, help your clients or policy holders know how they
can prepare for disasters and therefore minimize their claims; and number two: help you to
know a resource for confronting and dealing with the losses and help your clients find
quality service for restoring and for the damage mitigation that they need.
Easy to use and inexpensive materials, for example, would have kept this painting from
being damaged. This website has many suggestions and great
information for you. In this corner you can sign up for updates
on the blog. Down along this side, along this border, you
can see that there are categories that classify both the insurance companies and the types
of projects that we’ve worked on. Another website, SaveYourStuffFromADisaster.com
and SaveYourStuffBlog.com will be a resource to your customers as they look for help and
to get answers to their preservation questions. I invite you to contact us, give us a phone
call, to discuss how we can best help you with your clients.
