Reclaimed Wood Sculpture – Art

Alright, I will admit it. I do not necessarily like how this turned
out. My goal was to try to make an organic shape
with some visual interest. That is why I added these ridges. Although, that one piece that was a different
type of wood from the rest kind of bugged me. Most of it was oak. I think that one piece was ash. The same type of wood as this. I just needed that one more piece of wood
to fill in the gap. That is why I painted it. I just had some silver paint lying around. It was just an experiment to see how it would
go. That is it for this video. If you made it this far, thanks a lot for
watching. Hopefully, the next project will have a little
more magic. See you next time in Cammie’s Garage.

  1. That’s cool. I like the shape and form. I think another color might make you like it more. I think bright red might look good or blue to look like water.

  2. I like your whimsy, the silly stuff you do like your sanding scenes. 😁
Not my favorite piece either, but what the hell.

  3. I'd love to see you experiment with paint finishes. Then the species of wood wouldn't make a lot of difference. Also allow you to use a scrap of this and a scrap of that. The waves you have power carved recently might rock on a Mobius strip like that
