Pyrography Anaconda Snake wood burning time lapse art

Hi! Welcome to Pyrography Made Easy. I’m Brenda. In this episode I’m going to share with you my anaconda artwork. We saw the snake at the Oregon Zoo and I was really taken with its um color and the reflection on the water. and I hope that you will enjoy my rendition of it. Well I hope you enjoyed the video. The artwork was burned on basswood and it took me 14 and 1/4 hours to do it. on my website: Pyrography Made Easy I have a written blog that kind of discusses some of the back story behind the artwork so feel free to check that out anytime and there’s also a lot of tutorials and free patterns available on my website. Well thank you again for watching and I’ll see you next week.

  1. It is difficult to draw a snake due to the many small details! You have solved this great challenge very well! You beautiful depict the texture of the water too!

  2. That shirt is from South Africa 😁😁😁😁 We saw a baby Puff Addar when hiking the mountains a few months ago. They lay still when they hear humans and sense danger. He was right on the path, so glad we did not accidently step on it. Baby venomous snake bites are the same as an adult bite.

  3. Hi Brenda! That was a phenomenal drawing of the Anaconda snake! It is highly detailed and you did it with excellency. I wish you a beautiful day lovely ^^

  7. Hi Brenda. You are so good with textures!!! The eye is unbelievable. So real. When I have repeated patterns I get lost a lot of times and it is always very challenging and you seem to do them so easily. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Hi Brenda, yet another amazing animal portrait 🙂 The way you did the snake's scales looks really gorgeous – so many details! It's also incredible how you did the water and the snake's reflection in it with burning tools.

  9. Hi Brenda! Your Anaconda is fantastic. I have never been to the Oregon Zoo- your snake is really so beautifully done. I am marveling at how you achieve all the depth, 3-dimensionality, and texture in your animals and objects using only your pyrography tools. You are a true master, Brenda!
