How to Make Wood Art : How to Paint Light Colors on Wood Art

Hi, my name is David Clemen on behalf of Expert
Village. Today we’re going to paint on a piece of scrap wood that you find anywhere. These
are a couple of glasses and they look like they are pint size from a watering holes or
something like that. So I think I’m actually going to make these like a mustard color but
not to dark so I’m just going to put that on there. Basically I’m just going to fill
this in loosely and I’m actually going to go back to my bigger brush cause this is kind
of a bigger area. Get a hefty amount of white but it has a touch of a mustard and these
big brushes are pretty neat cause they cover a nice big area. You can fill in large areas
at a time and you can do some swirls and make them look like they are hand crafted pint
glasses at a ceramic shop or something like that. You come back in here and add a little,
fill this one in don’t forget the area in between the handle cause you can see the glass
back there. So I have to fill that in I don’t want to forget that, I can come in here and
pull that out, fill this in and you can use a little bit of the blue with the white. If
I want I can add some dots and I can get the bottom of the glass and there are your glasses.
