How to Draw Realistic Cherries | Tutorial for BEGINNERS

Hey guys, welcome back to another episode I recieved so many requests
for still-life drawings lately So I decided to upload atleast
one still-life drawing every month So let me know in the comments
whether its a good decision o not ? So we are going to use
these following tools in this sketch A 7B pencil for dar shades A B pencil for lighter shades Tombow MONO or any sharp-tip eraser for highlights A Ordinary Whitener for extra white Highlights and a Dry-brush or paper stump for blending So First of all m gonna
Darken the outline with a B pencil I already drew this simple
light outline using grid method You can download the Grid Reference from my website i’ve provided the link in the description Now we’re going to add
a base shade using the same B pencil Now blending the shade using a dry brush its a synthetic watercolor brush of size 3/8 now adding some darker shades using this 7B pencil make sure to leave some spaces for highlights again, you can download the reference from my website and follow the reference if you want. link is in the description Now lets add the final
dark shades on the upper part of the cherry and also on the sides Now blend this shade using a brush or a paper stump Now grab a TOmbow MONO Zero Eraser
or any other fine tip eraser and add some highlights in the cherry you can blend these strokes to get a smooth shade Moving on to the stalk Shade the whole stalk with
a B pencil & add a highlight in the middle now add some extra white
highlights using an ordinary whitener now i’m gonna repeat the same process for this one First you have to add an outline for highlights Secondly, add a darker base shade using a 7b pencil Then blend the shade with a brush and Lastly, clear the highlight area
with a fine tip eraser you can also add a whitener highlight if you want its totally upto you ! Now the final and most important
step is to add some shadow for each cherry because the shadows make a sketch look more realistic & 3-Dimensional So first you have to add a lighter shade with a B pencil Now darken the shadows with a 7B pencil and Here you Go ! i invest so much time making these step by step tutorials for you guys so make sure to share it with your friends
and give it a big thumbs up !

  6. Thanks for uploading and explaining so well! I have one question: What do you mean with whitener? Can I use fluid tip ex? I live in Germany. Where can I buy the whitener that you use?

  7. Do you dislike the shine you can get from dark graphite? I don’t care for it, but I’m still learning. At some point in one of my drawings, I’ll switch to a black colored pencil or charcoal. I’m curious how you feel about that. Love your videos!❀️
