Colorado Stormchaser Turns Severe Weather Into Art At Stanley Arts Festival

OF FALLEN OFFICERS. WHEN SEVERE WEATHER HITS STORM CHASERS FLOCKED TO COLORADO IN HOPES OF CAPTURING IMAGES OF THE WILD WEATHER. JOEL MET ONE TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER FROM FORT COLLINS WHO DISPLAYED HIS WORK THIS WEEKEND AT THE STANLEY ARTS FESTIVAL. I PHOTOGRAPHED THE WEATHER SO I DO SKYSCAPE’S. THIS STORM CHASER PHOTOGRAPHER LIVES TO CAPTURE COLORADO THROUGH THE LENS OF HIS CAMERA. WE HAVE SEVERE WEATHER ALL THE WAY TO A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET OR THE MAJESTY OF A NIGHT SKY. THE MATERIAL HE DISPLAYS THE PHOTOGRAPHS ON BRINGS OUT THE RICH TEXTURE OF COLOR AND CONTRAST OF COLORADO SKIES. THE WAY I PRINT THEM THEY ARE REFLECTIVE OF LIGHT AND THIS SIMULATES THAT LIKE A SUNSET. IS HAS A NATURAL GLOW. DAVID’S PASSION IS SEVERE WEATHER. ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN COLORADO IS TO GET OFF THE MAIN ROAD AND HIT THE DIRT ROADS RANK UP THE TUNES AND FOLLOW THE STORMS AND FIND SOME GREAT SUBJECTS. LIKE THIS STORM HE FOUND. I TRIED TO RACE AHEAD TO GET ALL OF THE DETAIL OF THE STRUCTURE OF THAT STORM. SEVERE WEATHER SEASON SHOULD CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE FORMER DESIGN ENGINEER PLENTY OF SUBJECTS WORTH CAPTURING FOR
