CACANi 2.0 – Drawing with Raster Layers

Raster Drawing Other than vector strokes, you can also draw on a pixel-based canvas in the Raster Layer. You can draw color separation lines by choosing the different drawing modes. The color separation lines are in sub-layers. Select the different color separation line modes to erase them individually. Use the ‘Paint Color Separation Lines’ option to paint the regions and lines at the same time. Use the ‘Opacity’ property if you want your strokes to have translucency. The ‘Smooth’ property lets you draw smoother looking lines. The ‘Pen Color’ property controls the pen color’s strength when mixing colors. At 0%, the pen color is ignored whenever there’re colors on the canvas. At 100%, the pen color is the strongest. It is unaffected by the colors on the canvas. As the percentage is increased, more of the pen color is mixed with the canvas colors. The ‘Blend’ property controls the speed of the color mixing. At higher percentages, the color mixing effect is much faster. The ‘Anti-Alias’ property smooths the edges of the pixels when drawing. The ‘Airbrush’ property mimics an airbrush splaying effect. The ‘Pressure’ dropdown menu lets you control the pen properties using the stylus pressure.
